Glasstec 2026: great connections brings great results

Behind every show lies work that begins long before the event and continues to create value long after it ends
We have built everything around our flexibility, transparency, drive to innovate and our efforts have paid off.

Four intense days with a constant flow of visitors at our booth, keeping the sales team busy throughout the show hours.

Building trust and demonstrating reliability is no easy task. Yet, our willingness to understand customers’ needs and turn them into reality through production is one of our winning strengths.
The main interested focused on the new RCN’s method to laminate PVB in autoclave-free machines and in all our automatic systems. Many visitors came with projects for special curves and special chemically tempered products, aware RCN can offer solutions.

We met a highly qualified audience, with knowledgeable and well-prepared visitors who had clearly defined their requirements, leading to meaningful and engaging discussions.
More specifically, the key point was that some visitors were seeking professional service and support, and we understood the reasons that led them to approach our company.”

The exhibition is over, but the real work continues: we have projects to study and develop, enquiries to respond to, and meetings to arrange.

LIA 2+4 full automatic sold to Nuova Vetraria Alessandrina, Italy.

Thanks to for having chosen RCN SOLUTIONS’ LIA for its production of laminated glass.

We are particularly proud the customer has chosen to renew its trust in our company, thus confirming the value of this partnership and the quality of the services we provide.

The machine exposed at Glasstec exhibition will go back to RCN’s premises for the last check and validation before delivery.

Second day: we do not have time for a break!

Visitors are fascinated by our full automatic LIA in composition 2+4 on display at the show. They are especially interested in lamination either PVB with the technical method developed by RCN.

Other companies are coming for bending and chemical tempering knowing our experience and flexibility in construction.

Lamination with PVB: others talk and write, we do and prove it.

That has always been our point! Autoclavefree machines – bagging system running with EVA - are not completely suitable to process with PVB too, unless additionl equipment are installed.
And honestly, we have undertaken our resposibility face to a market promising eldorado!
Now, it is the time! After long testing and engineering, RCN is proud to declare PVB can be laminated properly without autoclave, high investment and without additional processing.
Our PVB lamination system is not an adaptation: it is designed from scratch and rigorously tested to ensure superior performance.

RCN LIA 4+4 full automatic laminating line delivered to EDL GLASS in Ukraine

At a challenging time for Ukraine, we are proud to work with a Ukrainian glass processor and support its continued development through our technology and expertise.

EDL GLASS is a young and dynamic company specializing in the production of high-performance insulating glass units and safety glass products. The company continues to invest in advanced equipment, modern manufacturing processes, and the development of its skilled team to meet the evolving requirements of the glass industry.

As part of our cooperation, an RCN LIA 4+4 full automatic laminating line was delivered to EDL GLASS in July. Installation and commissioning were carried out by EDL GLASS’s technical team with remote guidance and support from RCN.

The successful completion of this process highlights the effectiveness of RCN’s remote technical support, as well as the expertise and commitment of the EDL GLASS team.

We would like to thank EDL GLASS for its trust, professionalism, and excellent cooperation throughout the project.

The strength behind advanced glass, namely the chemical tempering
Every day, we receive enquiries about chemical tempering plants. Whether small or large machines, the level of interest is remarkably high.
As a matter of fact, the glass industry is increasingly shifting its focus toward specialty products, driven by growing demand for more differentiated, high-performance and value-added solutions.
In such a context, chemical tempering of the glass has become an increasingly important process for companies in the industry, representing today a strategic technology for meeting the ever-growing demands for product performance, strength, and reliability.

Entering the world of chemical hardening means entering a world different from thermal one, thinking in matter of volumes instead of square meters.
The process is very simple: it is a melted potassium bath in which plates of glass should be immersed for 16 hours. Time can be reduced to 4 or 8 by using special glass manufactured by the most important glass companies.

Where glass flatness and robustness in tempering are a must, the chemical tempering is the choice, allowing these properties on thin glass too, for instance 0.5mm.

Thin glass is lighter not only in flooring but it is particularly demanded in the nautical industry, where to lighten the load is an important condition, a crucial one, as in many other applications.

From studies carried out by experts in double glazing production, it resulted that the use of one thin glass inside the insulated glass composition, reduces thermic conductivity, as there has been a wall inside.
And if energy consumption is a crucial matter, a real headhache for every company, the chemical tempering machine, after the initial heating up, where the entire power is neccesary, will use about 15% of the installed power.

The purchase of a high-quality machine is the result of a 360-degree evaluation that takes into account performance, reliability, safety, support, and return on investment.
