The Motor Valley University of Emilia-Romagna ( ) offers three international and inter-university Master’s Degree programs, taught entirely in English: Electric Vehicle Engineering, Electronic Engineering for Intelligent Vehicles and Advanced Automotive Engineering. There are still places available for the International Summer School in Industrial Engineering for Advanced Automotive.

The programme is a two-week intensive experience based in Bologna, in the heart of the Motor Valley, designed for master’s students and graduates in engineering disciplines.

It combines academic teaching with applied activities and company-based experiences, offering participants the opportunity to explore advanced topics in automotive and industrial engineering within an international environment.

At the STEM Racing Italy National Finals 2026, students didn’t just compete - they also had the opportunity to discover what the next step could look like.
Alongside the competition, the Formula SAE teams from MUNER partner universities shared their experience of turning classroom knowledge into real engineering projects, while a late-night panel brought together students, university team leaders and Ferrari GT3 factory driver Tommaso Mosca to reflect on the skills that shape a career in motorsport and mobility.
Different experiences, one shared journey.

Because the Motor Valley is more than an industrial district: it’s an educational ecosystem where every project becomes a stepping stone towards the next one.

An unforgettable day at Ferrari.

Our MUNER students had the opportunity to experience Ferrari Luce – Industry Lecture and Car Presentation, an exclusive event that brought together engineering education and one of the world’s most iconic luxury sports cars companies.

The morning featured an inspiring industry lecture, an engaging Q&A session with Ferrari professionals, and the presentation of Ferrari’s latest technologies, culminating in an immersive experience at the new e-Vortex test track.

Studying at MUNER means being part of the Motor Valley. Thanks to the support of our partner companies, our students can experience world-class automotive excellence first-hand, connecting their academic journey with the innovation, technologies, and people shaping the future of engineering.

Learning from industry leaders.

Students of the Racing Car Design curriculum recently took part in a workshop at Dallara Academy, where experts from Vimi Fasteners introduced them to the world of high-performance fastening systems and their applications in motorsport and high-performance vehicles.

An opportunity to connect classroom knowledge with real industrial challenges, thanks to the direct contribution of professionals working at the forefront of automotive engineering.
