The Formula SAE Italy & Formula Electric Italy is the official SAE Italian event organized by ATA since 2005. It is a student design competition which involves University teams of all over the world. The concept behind Formula SAE is that a fictional manufacturing company has contracted a design team to develop a small Formula-style race car. The prototype race car is to be evaluated for its poten

tial as a production item. The target marketing group for the race car is the non-professional weekend autocross racer. Each student team designs, builds and tests a prototype based on a series of rules whose purpose is both to ensure onsite event operations and promote clever problem solving. Formula SAE promotes careers and excellence in engineering as it encompasses all aspects of the automotive industry including research, design, manufacturing, testing, developing, marketing, management and finances. Formula SAE takes students out of the classroom and allows them to apply textbook theories to real work experiences. The classes of competitions are 3: Class 1C for combustion cars, Class 1E for full electric cars and Class 3 for teams attending with the project only. 📌 Last week, we held a training session for our new Technical Inspectors at Politecnico di Torino. 🤓

☀️ During the morning session, our Technical Inspection Managers presented the latest regulatory updates and provided an overview of the key aspects to consider during inspections, ensuring a consistent understanding of the requirements and best practices. 💡 🔎
🌇 In the afternoon, participants put theory into practice through a simulated inspection, analyzing checklists and engaging in interactive discussions on different scenarios and approaches. 👀 📝

🤝A special thank you goes to our Technical Inspection Managers, Silvio La Tassa, Simone Di Pierro and Nicola Tertulliani, and Luca Veneroso, for their valuable support and dedication. ❤️‍🔥
