🏁 THE BIRTH OF A LEGEND: October 6, 1946

Before the 75 World Titles, before Giacomo Agostini, and before becoming the most exclusive name in motorcycling, MV Agusta was just a small, almost unknown startup in post-war Italy.In the spring of 1946, the company began producing its very first model: the humble, lightweight "MV 98".

No one could have predicted that this simple utility bike would rewrite racing history just months later.

On October 6, 1946, the legend officially began.The MV 98 entered its first official competition at the "Coppa del Golfo" regularity race in La Spezia. Riding the bike to a shocking and historic victory was Vincenzo Nencioni.
