When I moved to Nairobi in 2017, I quickly found myself stuck in some of the worst traffic jams in the world. Watching the boda bodas, local motorcycle taxis, zip through the traffic
made me think I should give motorcycles a try. Nonetheless, I bought my first boda boda, watched a few YouTube tutorials, and started practicing in my apartment complex’s parking lot. It was a bit rough at first, but soon I was hooked! Riding brought a sense of freedom I hadn’t experienced before: being mobile, avoiding traffic, and exploring the beautiful outskirts of the city on weekends. That joy and liberation from riding made me want to share this experience with others. Our mission is simple: to offer both locals and visitors the chance to discover Nairobi in the most thrilling and safe way possible — on two wheels.
