Assembling Laforzas floor panels after repair. Sealed with polyurethane sealant, secured by hundreds of rivets. A pneumatic rivet gun saved the day.
Finished with a good coat of enamel paint. Nothing fancy, just a roller, but it will for sure save the fiberglass from the elements for many years to come.
Way better than if was done in factory. They used some kind of tar sealant, left many gaps, sprayed bitumen on top...

Soooo, after some time we figured that the original heater airbox does not fit with the OM612 engine installed. No big deal. Just had to make a new air box from scratch. Complete with drainage, intake and redesigned intake grills. Construct it in a way that it could be removed and installed with the engine in place.
