Some of you may be aware that we have instituted court cases against a 'customer' who owns a Toyota Corona Liftback, NN 7336. This character, Terence M George (TMG) from Seremban, who calls himself a car restorer (TMG Restorations) sent his car to us for welding & painting in August 2023 through the recommendation of a good friend. Red flag……I should have asked myself why a ‘car restorer’ from Seremban is coming all the way to Klang to get his car restored.
Though the good friend tried his very best to get TMG to settle his bills and take back his car, TMG did the very opposite and made false police reports and posted malicious and defamatory posts in Facebook against Karvy Garage, Liang Automotive and Long Shena Services. I even got a call from YB Anthony Loke's office about this case and needless to say, YB's office didn't get involved. We however chose to keep quiet till now.
Instead of getting into a 'he said, I said' situation to counter TMG’s FB posts, we are sharing interesting bits from various Court documents. Solid documentary evidence has far more weight than posts by a keyboard warrior who is also a sociopath and a pathological liar.
We warn all workshops to be extremely careful with this character who will try every way possible to continuously complain and NOT PAY for work he commissioned. He is a pathological liar and a sociopath who picks fights with anyone who disagrees with him including PDRM and KPDN (Consumer Tribunal).
At the Consumer Tribunal, TMG lost the case (it is very rare that a Claimant loses at the Consumer Tribunal). The Consumer Tribunal decided that Karvy Garage was not the Project Manager and TMG was ordered to pay Karvy Garage the balance sum of RM4,344.00 which he did after more than 1 year.
Additionally, our lawyer proceeded to file a Civil Suit at Seremban Magistrate's Court to recover storage charges from TMG.
Mechanic (Liang Auto) and Wireman (Long Shena Services) also filed their respective cases at Seremban Magistrate's Court. As TMG has paid the amount due and issue of workmanship is no longer an issue (acknowledged by TMG's lawyer in open Court), the Court will decide all 3 pending cases in September/October 2026.
And, no, we did not return the vehicle because TMG apparently called the IGP😊. We returned the car on 30 August 2026 as we were sick and tired of paying for storage.
