Greetings to all Mazda CX-5 2.2 diesel owners. We wish to share some important maintenance information concerning your Mazda 2.2 diesel engine. The diesel engine is equipped with an EGR system, which is designed to promote cleaner exhaust gas emissions. During this process, unburned exhaust gas is recirculated into the intake system via the EGR valve and its associated piping. Over time, this may result in the accumulation of carbon deposits within the engine, potentially leading to blockages in the system. Should this occur, you might notice a reduction in engine performance, an increase in fuel consumption, and less smooth engine operation. Based on our experience, we have observed that cleaning and servicing this system every 40,000 km is highly advantageous for maintaining optimal engine performance and efficient fuel consumption. For further inquiries or to schedule an appointment, please feel free to contact us directly 016-380 6279. At Fordexcellent Auto Sdn. A Volvo V40 T5 (B4204T11 engine) came in for service, including a 22-point inspection. The customer also mentioned that the air conditioning wasn't cooling.

We did the services and checks. For the A/C, we found that the gas pressure was the problem. We did both a high-pressure leak test and a vacuum leak test. No leaks were found during these tests. However, we put dye into the system so that any future leaks can be easily spotted.
