As a believer, we have the power of faith to calm any storm that comes our way. Jesus showed us this by believing in his own power and commanding the storm to be still. We don't have to be afraid when life throws us a curveball, because Jesus is with us and has the power to stop it. When the storm came, the disciples of Jesus cried out to him for help.

Mark 4:39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

Heavenly Father, I'm so grateful for your willingness to come into my life and help me through every storm. I'm thankful for your strength and power, and I trust that you will never let me down. When storms come, I know I can always turn to you for help. So today, I'm asking you to help me find peace in my family, job, career, and education.

We know we fall short of the glory of God. We are all sinners and make dark decisions that lead us to sin. God offers salvation to all who repent and renounce their wicked ways. He loves those difficult to love; He is patient with the restless; He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-present; thus, making Him perfectly merciful and just. We are thankful to be loved by our loving God; He accepts everyone who chooses to follow Him.

Ezekiel 18:21 (KJV) But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

Dear Lord, Teach us to look for opportunities to witness. You extend salvation to everyone, and we want to show the world the hope they can have in life with You. In Jesus's Name, Amen.
