These days💖

Few snaps from May. Honestly, this is why I work so hard. To be able to do all this. I often enjoy what I do for a living. Although I’m struggling more and more with the marketing side of it. Not with the activities it takes, but with the mentality of the world towards it, and behind it. Won’t go too deep into it now, but I sincerely am convinced most don’t know how far things go these days. How specialised every aspect is nowadays.

But.. all the hard work does enable these days💖 And I’m loving every second of it✨

1 & 2. My first hard enduro experience at a verrrry wet Bilstain with The Enduro Dudes and (freaking bad ass babe) What a brilliant group of people. I arrived way too unprepared, and definitely under qualified hahah. But did my best! I thought ‘what the heck am I doing here’ multiple times. And lay the bike down even more. But the satisfaction afterwards was huge. Pushed numerous boundaries I didn’t even knew I had 😂 Brilliant weekend!

3. Rode Henry’s KTM 125 sx for the first time after some encouragement. Didn’t expect it to be my thing. Turns out it 100% is my thing. I’m getting myself a 125 🥹 What an amazing little rocket. We were flying. Guess I’m a ring ding ding girl.

4. Rode Assen for the first time this year. Struggled a lot. Couldn’t focus. Too much in my head. I tend to take work things ‘home’ with me. Wally rode supaaah fast with the 660 though. It makes me happy to see him have so much fun, and to see him flying ✨

5 & 6. Awesome evening at Heerde with .anne_ and . What a brilliant track to ride with these cool ladies🙏 Up to many more!!

7. turned the YZF750R into a proper stunner 🥹🥰 LOOK AT IT. The white and pink wheels are in now, and it looks so cool. Can’t wait to take it out for a spin. Seriously, this thing SPARKLES. I’m so incredibly grateful 💖

Happy days, with amazing people. These days is what it is all about. Living in the moment, having fun, enjoying life with people who are singing the same tune✨

Ignoring algorithms and views 😈💁‍♀️

Don’t care for the attention online. I honestly don’t know how people manage all those notifications, messages, reactions and all from social media. I don’t get many, and I can’t even keep up with those 🤣 Like really.. how do people handle real life and digital life all at once.. I have my hands full handling real life😂

Diggin’ this new offroad hobby. Pretty cool thing to do. Not good at it yet. But all smiles all the time. So far.. I enjoy riding motocross more than enduro, even though I have been blessed by meeting absolutely brilliant people while riding enduro. So that’s really, really cool. But in terms of riding.. I discovered I love airtime 😏 Not jumping real big and far yet.. did do an accidental baby whip last time. Which started due to a lack of control, and landed it safely by sheer luck and a lack of skills 😂 Brilliant times. Let’s see if the crosskroket and I can build some proper wings👀😏

SO: who’s going to convince me enduro is cooler than motocross? Or are we not picking teams? Do I have to?? I don’t think I want to🥹 OKÉ DOEI💖

Had such a blast last Friday, riding with 20 bad ass babes during the ride out💖🥹

Outside, no phone and laptop.. this is how life is meant to be lived, if you ask me. Had so much fun I totally forgot to make photos and videos🥹 Luckily, others did! 🙌

20 girls. Pure fun, no ego, nothing but support and respect for one another. This is how it should be. Secretly, I’m always a bit anxious to join big groups. Especially when it’s a group with so many bad ass babes.. but they were all so incredibly kind, cool, and talented. A beautiful thing to witness, and to be able to take part in this. Very, very grateful!✨

And.. I am always incredibly tough on myself. I’m not competitive by nature, but I do set the bar very, verrrry high for myself. I hardly ever think I’m good enough at something, or cute enough, talented enough, pretty enough, and well.. all that. But I actually felt quite comfortable on the bike yesterday. For a offroad rookie.. not a bad ride. Not a bad ride at all💖

This gave me goosebumps 💖

That one look, that focused gaze. All of a sudden I recognised something. I have my mother’s eyes 🥹 That made me so grateful.

She was the strongest woman I have ever known. She taught me to find love and light in life, in the smallest places. To, come what may, always remember your smile, and the power it has.

I love the emotion in these shots. Being on track, on that bike, and most importantly with those people. That’s my happy place 💖 I am so grateful for those people for embracing me into it all, and for being so kind and supportive. It means the world to me.

Just can’t get enough 🥹💜

I know I’m a mega perfectionist. And it reaches extreme levels when I judge my own riding.. but I also feel proud when I see these pictures. Because they do show a bit of confidence again, in my own mellow way.

I’ve got a good feeling about this season. Excited, to say the least! BUT FIRST: back into rookies shoes again. Got to go for the rookie MX course this weekend, on .. *drum rolls* .. ✨the crosskroket✨ We back in business baby!! WHO AM I RIDING OFFROAD WITH THIS YEAR?🙋‍♀️

Flying with my rocket🦄✨

Gosh, I wish I was born with a talent for racing. And a sugerdaddy😂 could do this all day, every day. My absolute happy place.

Yes, I don’t use all the pony power, YET. But we are getting along, looking hella superb. And gaining more and more confidence.

I take my hat off to anyone who rides a superbike fast. For anyone thinking it’s ’just twisting the throttle’.. well, yep. That’s the easy part indeed. But finding the balls to actually do it (yes I was convinced I twist the throttle completely. Data is a b^%! It humbled me, yet again) is a different thing. Then having less time to figure shizzle out because corners suddenly are there waaay quicker is another. And then having the balls again to keep the throttle open to the last second, close it, and hit the brakes HARD.. well.. let’s say.. it’s definitely easier said than done somehow.

Maybe I’m just a wuss. Could be. Probably😂 But hey. I’m trying. I’m flying. One day, it will click. Last year, a rather fast lad who outrides most of us told me: speed comes slow.

I hold on to that. Speed comes slow, but it will come. It is coming. Confidence starts to shine through more and more, little by little. We’ve got this🦄💜

It’s a feeling one can’t explain with words ❤️

The ‘braaap’, the ‘YEAH BUDDY’, the smile when you roll off track. It’s all audible and visible. But the butterflies, the excitement, the thrill. One has to do it to understand it. To feel it.

I love off-roading. I love pit biking. I love going for coffee on the bike. But this.. the dancing together on fast flowing circuits. That’s what truly lights my fire like nothing else ❤️🔥

Am I being a ‘dreamy’ person right now? Or a hopeless romantic?🥹 This sport, this hobby, and most of all this passion.. it’s just what makes me tick 🙌✨

Which bike is on your ‘to ride’ list this year?👀😏

Haven’t ridden that many different bikes lately. Thought I’d share a few from ‘the old days’😄

Will try to get back into it. Got quite a few off-roaders on my wish list, in my quest to find my perfect enduro bike 👀 I’d like one that handles MX tracks well, but also serves well during actual enduro rides. AND trying the Aprilia RS660 on track is VERY HIGH upon my wish list 😄

Who’s riding something else this year too? 🙋‍♀️ I dare you to go out of your comfort zone 🤩

Slightly going crazy here. I am in some desperate need of mud, sand and water. Or high speed corners on a sexy looking race bike.

Instead, here I am. Riding my office chair across the house.

Little trip down memory lane 🥹✨ time is flying so fast sometimes. That mellow yellow banana bike was SUCH a good bike. Rode it to 100K km and it still ran. Never let me down once💜 I’m so incredibly excited to get back on the bike again in March🦄
