🌍 Netpresenter 30 years: from local startup to international player 🌍

What started as a small Dutch startup with a handful of believers has grown into an international communications platform used by organizations around the world.

Early on, global pioneers such as Nokia, Sony, and US Space Command recognized the potential of visible workplace communication and became some of Netpresenter’s first international customers.
Over the years, that early trust grew into long-term partnerships. Today, organizations like George Washington University Hospital, Hogeschool Utrecht, DHL, and Smurfit Kappa rely on Netpresenter every day to keep their employees informed, engaged, and safe.

Thirty years of growth did not happen overnight. It was made possible by customers who believed in the vision, partners who helped expand it, and employees who continue to build on it every day. A big thank you to all for that!

🎉 30 Years of Netpresenter: The idea that grew to five million users 🎉

30 years ago, Netpresenter started somewhere you might not expect: an old butcher's shop in the Netherlands.

That's where Netpresenter 1.0 was built, the world's first Digital Signage software for the PC. The idea was simple but powerful: use existing networks and screens to reach employees more effectively.
What started as an early tool with Amiga technology has grown into a platform that reaches more than five million employees worldwide today.

From an idea to five million users. That's the story of 30 years of Netpresenter. And we're just getting started!

“Employees who were often on the go had no access to the intranet to read important messages and news. As a result, the administrative staff had to regularly print out news updates and other important information and hand them over to the employees heading out.”

With around 110 employees across production and administration, Kugler faced a challenge: how to keep everyone informed—especially those without regular PC access. By introducing Netpresenter’s Corporate Screensavers and Digital Signage, the company created a central, visual communication channel that ensures important updates are always visible, whether employees are at a desk or on the shop floor.

📢 "Since switching, global information delivery has improved significantly." 📢
Keeping 2,400 employees informed across 32 countries is no easy task; especially when many of them are non-desk workers. Royal Van Leeuwen faced challenges with their previous Digital Signage system, harming their employee communication. They switched to Netpresenter to tackle these challenges. Danny van Krimpen, Communications Advisor stated:
