Kas got off to a strong start and immediately gained a position. Over the next five laps, he continued to make steady progress, overtaking competitors one by one and moving further up the field. By the halfway point of the race, he had climbed to P12 and was showing promising pace.

Unfortunately, disaster struck once again. In an incident involving another rider, he crashed out of the race, resulting in a second DNF of the weekend after the disappointment of Race 1 on Saturday.

Despite the setbacks, there are valuable lessons to take away from this weekend. We will analyze what happened, learn from the experience, and come back stronger for the next race weekend, which will take place at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy.

No finish for Kas in Race 1 today ❌ Starting from P22 and carrying a long lap penalty, it was always going to be a challenge. After a strong start, a small crash in the opening lap set him back, but he managed to rejoin and continue.

A red flag in lap 3 gave us a second chance with a restart, but unfortunately luck wasn’t on our side. Kas crashed again after the restart and this time the damage was too severe to continue.

The most important thing: Kas is OK. 💪 The bike needs a full rebuild, but tomorrow is a new day and a new opportunity. We’ll come back stronger! 🔥🏁

Unfortunately, Kas has to start Race 1 from P22 after a crash in the 3rd lap of the Qualifying session. Rider and bike are both fine, but there was no more time left to do a lap once the bike arrived in the pit box.

Given the long-lap penalty Kas has to take in Race 1, our focus will shift to setting a fast lap time in Race 1 for a higher grid position in Race 2. And perhaps we can also score a few points in Race 1 💪
