After joining us at Goodwood, the owner of the Breadvan Hommage pointed the car towards home in Munich. But not before making a detour to the legendary Circuit de Reims-Gueux in France’s Champagne region, where this bespoke coachbuilt machine found the perfect backdrop for another unforgettable chapter of its journey.

Every Niels van Roij Design coachbuilt is created to cover miles, create memories, and be enjoyed exactly as intended: on the open road.

A one-off interpretation of a piece of 1972 automotive design, created for those who believe individuality still matters.

Three coachbuilt stories. One unforgettable day.

At the Royal Automobile Club, Woodcote Park, we celebrated the world premiere of our Daytona Shooting Brake Hommage last week.

Alongside it, our Breadvan Hommage, driven all the way from Munich by Autohaus Blöchl, reunited with us for this special occasion.

Also joining us was a Bentley Continental R from the Hooper International B.V. collection, a fascinating platform that could become the basis for a future Niels van Roij Design coachbuilt rebody or even Shooting Brake conversion.

A celebration of craftsmanship, individuality, cars, people and the enduring art of coachbuilding.

The interior of the Daytona Shooting Brake Hommage is an exercise in restraint.

Inspired by the 1972 Chinetti Shooting Brake, the instrument binnacle is positioned centrally within the dashboard, while hand-finished carbon fibre replaces the walnut of its predecessor. Cognac leather flows uninterrupted across the seats, dashboard, door panels, headlining and luggage compartment, creating one continuous architectural composition.
