Lamborghini Design 90, a true piece of art!
The Lamborghini Design 90 is undoubtedly one of the rarest and most fascinating Lamborghini-related creations ever produced on two wheels.
Only a very limited number were built in 1986 during the Mimran era (1981–1987), when Patrick Mimran led Lamborghini. Alongside projects such as the LM002 and Lamborghini’s V12 powerboats, the Design 90 was a unique collaboration between and Boxer Design founded by Thierry Henriette. Its revolutionary chassis was designed by the engineering genius Claude Fior.
After a long search and considerable effort, I am delighted to announce that this exceptional example is finally on its way to Wateringen. It will join the Lelimotive Collection and be offered for sale at the end of August.
This is a genuine 40-year-old survivor: a completely original, accident-free motorcycle that remains remarkably untouched. Finished in its original Pearl White Metallic paint with silver graphics and logos, it has covered just 5,590 kilometers from new!
It is also a highly desirable full-specification example, featuring the Fior/Forcella front suspension, Brembo Goldline brakes, Gotti 16-inch aluminum wheels, and the exceptionally rare original Design exhaust system.
I am incredibly proud to have this motorcycle in my collection. It will receive a comprehensive technical and cosmetic service to bring it to the highest possible standard while preserving its originality.
A dedicated photo shoot, video production, interview, and podcast are already in the works to tell the story of this remarkable machine.
