We're looking for an experienced Automotive Machinist / Engine Reconditioner to join our workshop team in Glenfield.

Competitive salary based on skills and experience.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7.30am-4.30pm

Engine Specialties Ltd has been operating for 40 years, specialising in all types of engine machining, reconditioning and rebuilding.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong technical skill base who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working with engines - particularly performance and marine engines.

🚨 About the role 🚨
Working as part of our tight-knit team, you'll be involved in all aspects of engine machining and assembly, working across a wide range of projects.

Your responsibilities will include but not restricted to:
➡️ Engine assembly and rebuilding
➡️ Setting up and operating typical engine machining equipment
➡️ Working on performance, marine and everyday engines

🔍 What we're looking for
Relevant industry experience with solid understanding of machining and reconditioning.

We're particularly interested in someone with:
✅ Strong engine machining skills, with welding skills a bonus.
✅ Proven experience
✅ A strong mechanical and technical understanding
✅ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
✅ The ability to work independently while contributing to a team
✅ A problem solver
✅ A genuine passion for engines and all things automotive

⭐ Experience with high-performance engine work would be a definite advantage ⭐
