Here at Absolute Towing T/A Curly’s Salvage we pride ourselves in being able to provide reliable roadside assistance and vehicle recovery all day every day. If you join us, you will be working in a supportive team who is here to help ease our customers in their times of need!
Successful applicants could earn an income between $56,000 and $90,000 per annum!
The ideal candidate will be a friendly problem-solver, always ready to lend a hand to drivers in distress. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers in need of roadside assistance, providing them with the help they need to get back on the road safely.
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing roadside assistance to drivers in need, ensuring that they are safe, and their vehicles are back on the road in no time. We provide full recovery and roadside assist training to our drivers and have a fleet of well-maintained and equipped vehicles to ensure that the job is done efficiently.
Responsibilities
• Respond to roadside calls and customer requests, providing fast and efficient assistance.
• Manage vehicle movements and ensure that equipment is used properly and effectively.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot various vehicle issues, including flat tires, engine failure, battery problems, and more.
• Perform vehicle towing services as required.
• Communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain accurate paperwork.
Requirements
• Willingness to work flexible shifts (including weekends/holidays) Based on a pre-arranged roster.
• A valid Class 2 minimum driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively assess emergency situations.
• Good organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Basic mobile device skills including knowledge of maps and navigation methods.
Advantages for applicants
• Any knowledge or mechanical skills.
• Previous experience as a tow truck operator or other experience in a related field.
• Physically fit.

Looking for any scrap cars to be donated to the Franklin Fire brigades for extraction training, Vehicles need to have a complete body and rolling on wheels, they will be partially crushed and then cut up by the local brigades for their training. Any help would be hugely appreciated please message me a photo if you have something 🙂

In the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Curlys Salvage will still be operating, the towing and recovery services will be active for emergency work, Breakdowns, tire changes, crash recovery, roadside assist etc. any other transport will be case by case basis.

The workshop will also be continuing to operate to service the needs of essential personnel only, (Police, Fire, Ambulance, hospital staff etc) breakdown repairs etc. to keep the essential personnel getting to their jobs. the gates will be closed and this will be by appointment only.

For the safety of our Staff, we must abide by cautionary procedure, and as such ask that we all be safe and wipe all surfaces (steering wheel, gear lever etc) before delivery. We will only accept vehicles if all precautions are met.
