An alarm install from a 'reputable' local alarm installer, this vehicle was presented to us with issues with central locking, this shows importance of taking it to somewhere that has trained technicians not just 'alarm installers' looking in a book of 'how to'
To go with the fact the alarm wiring and mounting is an absolute mess, These guys were obviously struggling to find a source to trigger the central locking so have gone straight to the switch, that's not the issue, they then obviously struggled to get through the door grommet so have run wires externally up and under the door trim. This is worse than many back yard installs I've seen.
Also they have removed the factory buttons from customers key fob therefore removing lots of extra functions that Toyota put into their 'VIP' cars, for the example the auto roll up/down of windows when you lock/unlock.
