TTE Automotive (Taxi Technology) is looking for a technician with workshop experience to fill a role that includes mechanical and automotive installation skills. The role requires great customer service skills with the ability to deal directly with the public in a fast paced environment.
- Capable of service and technical repair work on most common vehicle makes.
- Hold and maintain a full NZ drivers licence.
- Great communication skills.
- Be self motivated and take pride in your work.
- The ability to work well both in a team environment and unsupervised.
- Ensure efficient and accurate fault diagnostics, with a good understanding of all automotive systems.
- Ensure all vehicles are processed accurately, efficiently and of a high standard.
- Is reliable and has good time management skills.
- Ensure tasks are completed within a scheduled time frame.
- Competent in workplace safety and the use of proper safety equipment when required.
- Is competent with the use of computers and other IT equipment.
- NZ Residency or a valid NZ work visa.
- Customer service/Customer bookings.
- Completing job cards and invoicing.
This position includes a very wide variety of tasks from basic scheduled servicing, to detailed hybrid diagnostics and repairs. As well as automotive equipment installation (specific training provided).
Hours Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pm
This position requires a large number of skills with a very diverse task list. The ability to work with tight timeframes and prioritise tasks throughout the day is essential. Dealing directly with customers, arranging bookings and completing estimates and invoices.
Mechanical apprenticeship available. Workshop experience required.
Remuneration negotiable, relative to experience/ability and skill set. Will consider part time for the right applicant
If you are reliable, competent in vehicle servicing and repair, able to work independently efficiently, have the ability to learn new tasks quickly, enjoy a diverse range of tasks and challenges, please apply for this position.
