Just like that, January disappeared and Chrome Expression Session is right around the corner....Time to take a look back at how we kicked things off for 2026!

Beginning with a father/son duo, both with a shared passion but sitting at different ends of the bench. Japanese import tuner VS American muscle!

Cole's 1JZ Crown, in for a variety of upgrades. A custom turbo-back stainless exhaust system was fabricated in-house. Followed by a Link G4X piggy-back ECU setup. The fuel system overhauled with Bosch 1000cc injectors and an in-tank fuel pump upgrade. A Link CAN gauge discreetly displays important info without cluttering the prestine VIP Crown interior!

Then we have Phil's 427R Roush Mustang. Basic intake mods and a supercharger pulley upgrade is all that's required to unleash some serious snot. With the appropriate tuning of course! Taking the factory 427 flywheel HP (or 435 for the R) to almost 480WHP.

Was a pleasure to have both machines and neat to see it's a family affair!

With the final days of 2025 upon us, here we have the last few tidbits from the Flame camera reel... A small collage of vehicles and odd jobs, that seen us through the end of the year.

From a 600HP Ford Cosworth, to a Fiat Bambina. A custom EZ30 exhaust system, through to 370Z turbo conversions. We have a real variety of vehicles and builds. This is likely one of the most enjoyable aspects of what we do.

To all our customers, we wish you a safe and happy new year. We look forward to seeing you in 2026, the calendar already filling out with new and exciting builds! To anyone on the fence, with a project car stashed away needing work, 2026 is the year to get it out and get it done!

That's a wrap for the wild weekend of 4 & Rotary 2025! Three days of track with three different seasons, not that the hail slowed anyone down!

Great to see a huge variety of vehicles and catch up with our customers trackside.

We absolutely look forward to this event each year and highly recommend it to anyone on the fence. The team at Premier events put in a huge effort and we can't thank them enough.

We put MADCIV through it's paces all weekend. With a heap of ride-alongs in the DYM sessions, making for some interesting reactions!

We had a blast in the ever popular roll-racing event. Making it to the semi-finals in the 2WD Turbo class. Both ourselves and are excited to develop the platform further!

October has been the month of the cross-breed! The following is a small mash-up of various swaps and conversions of late. Alongside a little exhaust fabrication work, with Subaru twisted turbo setups becoming increasingly popular. A tidy in-house example, back-purged to perfection!

Starting with Elden's gorgeous FD RX7, sporting an 8HP70 transmission swap. At the turn of a dial, can transition between seamless automatic shifting, through to firm manual shifts using the sequential or paddle shifters. With the fresh 13B still on the run-in tune and some teething issues to sort, there will be updates to come!

On the complete other end of the spectrum, we have Joey's near immaculate XA Falcon. With none other than a Barra turbo between the strut towers. Putting power down through a TH400 transmission. This is a gnarly weekend warrior with oodles of torque!

Sam always brings us something interesting, with his last adventure being an LS RX7, now seen in NZPC. He's currently settling into a new chassis. With an SR20DET swapped AE Corolla, all setup to hit the track!

With 4&Rotary and Xmas right around the corner, we appreciate everyone's patience as we wade through the busy season. Now's the time to get those projects running for summer! Make sure to reach out and lock in your bookings before 2025 is out.

September! Already!? Time flys when your having fun...

We're well overdue an update, with 4&Rotary on the horizon once again. It's been difficult to get behind the camera to catch the action.

This weekends build collage, is somewhat David vs Goliath. A small collection of vehicles from different ends of the spectrum.

We've had some heavy-hitters. With the likes of Dan's "Street Auto" R34 GTR, in for a variety of fabrication tasks. This included full exhaust and intake systems. As well as the completion of Cam's "East Coast Auto" LS R32 turbo Skyline. Which has been a build we've been chipping away with over the past few months. In typical LS fashion, 600WHP+ capable on single-digit boost.

On the other hand, we've had a run of small displacement, naturally aspirated 4-bangers. The under-dogs with a power to weight advantage!

Great examples being Matt's H2B EG hatch. Extensive work in the long block combined with the use of E50 fuel. Net a mighty 300WHP. Which is absolutely no small feat for one of these engines. Weve also had James's B16 EG hatch. James has spent many man hours shaving and tucking throughout the engine bay. To achieve a clean, minimalistic look. An example of a quality hot-hatch reminiscent of the golden era.

We look forward to what the final quarter of 2025 will bring us! We're itching to get out to upcoming summer events.

Hard to believe we're mid-way through 2025! With the onset of these frosty months and darkness at 5pm. I'm sure some of our DIY customers will be braving the elements to get projects in full swing during the off-season. With 4&Rotary and other notable events just around the corner.

This sunday's post is a real mash-up. Various project pictures we've snapped, since the year began. I'm always surprised how extensive our archive is. However, there's never enough time to give each vehicle the back-story they deserve.

As usual team, we truly appreciate the support we've had across the last 5 years. Being able to grow and carry out the diversity of performance vehicle work we are able to provide today.
