School Holiday Program of Events at Kyrewood Equestrian Park

Tues 7th and Tues 14th July - KIDS DAY
9.30am to 12pm
1.00pm to 3.30pm
Cost - $50/rider/session
Lots of fun and games.
Riding - flat/ sj / xc lessons
Stable management
Painting poles and jump stands
Decorating and designing Kids Club clubroom etc
If parents wish to stay for the session then there will be hot drinks and nibbles available in the common room. A chance to have a chat with other horsey parents
Cost $5 for refreshments

Sat 11th and 18th July - KYREWOOD KIDS CLUB
2.30pm to 4.30pm
Get your friends together and come for a ride. All facilities will be available subject to weather. We will also get some guest coaches in now and then
we will hold stable management sessions ( will help towards pc certificates )
We can organise vets and feed merchants and other specialised people to come in and give talks
Club Members get to decorate and design their own clubroom and help paint xc jumps etc
Membership is $50 for the year and then Sat Kids sessions are only $15 for members and $25 for non members

Thur 9th and Thur 16th July - Family Day
9.30am to 12pm
1.00pm to 3.30pm
Discounted prices for family riders
Parent $25/horse 1st child $15/horse
2nd child $10
Have a morning or afternoon session of pure pony time with your kids.

Sun 12th July - West Wind Equestrian Combined Training Winter Series

Reminder - Anyone using the xc paddock MUST wear a body protector
All poos left by your horses/ponies must be cleaned up

Sat 4th and Sun 5th July - Eventing Workshop at Kyrewood Equestrian Park ( weather dependant)

Sat morning - showjumping with Elaine Bradley coaching
Lunch and a chat with Holly McInnes
Saturday afternoon XC with Holly McInnes coaching
Evening - tea/coffee and nibbles with Q&A time and a talk on fence judging

Sunday morning - dressage with Nicole Bours coaching
Lunch
Sunday afternoon - little competition to finish off.
Cost for the 2 days = $175/rider.
If anyone wishes to stay overnight on the Sat night we do have yards available and a campsite with toilets /showers etc to park your float/truck
$10/horse/yard and $15/float or truck

Class 1 - Bg 1 + Poles on ground
Class 2 - Bg 2 + 30/40cms
Class 3 - Bg 3 + 50/60cms
Class 4 - Bg 4 + 70/80cms
Class 5 - J7 + 95cms
Ground fee $15 + entry fee $20
Just showjumping gf + $10 ( 2 rounds )
Just dressage gf + $10 ( feedback on test )

Kyrewood Equestrian Park and West Wind Equestrian would like to support such a great fundraising event.
Have a look at the items up for grabs and let me know if we can get a group together to bid on some of the bigger items. I quite fancy a trip to Ellerslie races etc so let see if we can make it happen
Msg me with the item you are keen on and if i can get enough confirmed people willing to help raise money for the bid on the item then we will see what we can do. Or if you fancy something yourself then go ahead and have a go. The more bids the more money raised.

The weather was kind to us again this Sunday. It was cold but at least it didnt rain. There was a good turnout today with 13 riders taking part. A big thank you to Nicole Bours for judging the dressage and Jenny Scott for both writing for Nicole and then timekeeping for the showjumping. We did dressage in the front arena and jumping in the back arena with warm up for both in a paddock at the side. Its great to have so much space.
Both arenas will stay set up for the next week or two if anyone wishes to come and school in them or try out our xc paddock. It is just a blanket fee of $25/ horse to come for a play

We now have room for 2 grazers.
Private paddocks
Use of showjump arena / flat arena and xc paddock.
Yards/tie-ups available and also horsewalker and round pen
Stables available for emergencies.
Float parking can also be arranged
