🔧🚗 WE’RE LOOKING FOR AN APPRENTICE! 🔋

Are you into cars, auto electrical work, and all those niggly little jobs that come with it? Have you ever thought about becoming an Auto Electrician?

Hobbs Davy is looking for a new apprentice to join the team in the new year!

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has a genuine interest in cars and becoming an Auto Electrician.

- Is self-motivated, hardworking and keen to learn.

- Has great time management and a good work ethic.

- Has a great sense of humour, loves a laugh and brings an awesome attitude to the team!

You don’t need to know it all already, but having an interest in cars and a willingness to learn is a great start!

Sound like you, or know someone who’d be a good fit? 👀

Pop into Hobbs Davy with your CV, have a chat with Connar, and come see what it’s all about!

🍻 DRIFT WEEKEND MODE: ACTIVATED! 😎🏕️

We’re packed up and ready to kick off our weekend! The boss is heading away for a couple of days, so the boys had better behave themselves .. They have already been checked on before we hit the road 🙄

Don’t worry, though, the workshop is still open, and the team are ready to help! 🔋🔧 Whether you need a new battery, lights sorted, or anything auto electrical, pop in and see them!

The busier we keep them, the less time they have to get up to mischief… which means the boss might actually get to enjoy some well-earned time off with his favourite people AND doing what he loves .. DRIFTING! 🏎️💨🤣

Have a ripper weekend, everyone! 🍻🤘

HOW is it October already?! 😳

Somehow we’ve blinked and skipped straight into the last few months of the year… and apparently forgot to tell Facebook about it. 🫣😂

We’ve been a bit slack on the socials, but before you think we’ve all packed up and drifting… the boys have actually been flat out in the workshop! 🔧🚗🔋

They’ve been keeping themselves busy, keeping the jobs rolling in and, most importantly, keeping themselves out of trouble… well, most of the time. 😉😂

Need a battery? Lights? Service? Auto electrical work? Or something in your vehicle making a noise that definitely wasn’t there yesterday? 👀

Pop in and see the boys or give us a call .. we’ll see what we can do!

And we promise… we’ll try to remember we have a page a little more often! 😂🫣

A big welcome to Jasmine, who has joined the Hobbs Davy crew on Thursdays for her Gateway placement! 👏

She'll get a hands-on look at what it's like to be an auto electrician, learning about the trade and everything our team does behind the scenes.

We're excited to have you on board, Jasmine, and can't wait to see what you learn. Welcome to the team! ⚡🔧

After a lot of late nights, weekends in the shed, and maybe a few extra grey hairs, Connar finally got the chance to put the new motor and gearbox in the drift car to the test at Manfeild over the weekend! 🏁

After only a couple of runs, there was a small issue, but with a quick trip to palmy for some parts, the boys got everything sorted and had the car back out on the track in no time.

Connar drove amazing and came away with an awesome 4th place out of 40 drivers! 👏🔥

It definitely made all the hard work, late nights, and long hours worthwhile.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped along the way and to everyone who came along and supported him over the weekend. We really appreciate you all.

Bring on the next event! 🏎️

🎉 Yay for Friday!

It's been another busy week for the boys, but getting out and about and taking in views like these makes it all worth it. ☀️🚛

Just a reminder that next week is a short week, so if you're heading away and need a battery, lights, or a service before you go, get in touch with the team. We'll be happy to get you sorted before your trip!

Have a fantastic weekend, everyone! 😊
