Our Story
Pete Norman grew up in Northland and when he left school he trained as a panel be**er. He then worked for many years for his families business, Norman’s Buses which was a household name in Whangarei for over 8 decades. When his parents retired Pete and his wife purchased the business and ran it for a few years until being bought out by a larger company. He then decided to follow his true calling of vehicle restoration, opening Old School Steel Co. in 2016.
