Job Title: JUNIOR PANEL BE**ER / CAR PAINTER
Location: Katikati Panelworks & Car Painters, Katikati, NZ
Work Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Mon to Fri, 8.00 to 5.00

About the Role
Are you a car enthusiast with a keen eye for detail? We are looking for a motivated Junior Panel Be**er / Car Painter to join our busy team. This is a hands-on entry-level position where you will learn the trade from the ground up.
We specialise in Insurance Repairs and will provide daily practical experience on a wide range of vehicles. This could lead to an Apprenticeship for the right candidate, or we would consider someone who has already started one.
Must be a NZ Resident or holder of a valid work visa.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Assisting senior technicians with vehicle disassembly and reassembly.
• Learning to repair and replace damaged body panels.
• Assisting with welding, chassis alignment, and dent removal.
• Preparing surfaces for painting and finishing.
• Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment.

What We’re Looking For
• Passion: A genuine interest in cars and automotive repair.
• Reliability: A "show up and get it done" attitude with strong punctuality.
• Drivers Licence: A valid NZ driver's licence (or working towards one) is required.
• Communication: Good verbal and written skills for following job sheets.
