This is a full-time permanent position based at our Wellington yard in Lower Hutt, working Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm and have your weekends free. Enjoy the outdoors in an active role preparing end of life vehicles to be stripped for their parts. Your role as part of our team is to help with rotating stock in & out of the dismantling yard. Retrieve new stock and hook it up to drain fluids, loosen tyre nuts, remove battery etc. ready to go out into the dismantling yard where customers dismantle for parts. Old stock being rotated out of the dismantling yard is put out back ready to be crushed and scrapped.
Use tyre machine and counterbalance forklift to shift vehicles around processing up to 10 cars a day with plenty of variety with other odd jobs in the yard to fill your day. You will work under cover and outside in all weather and not mind getting grubby.
