Media Statement – Key to Communities Shelby Promotion

Matamata Panelworks has received several enquiries regarding the Key to Communities Shelby Promotion.

Matamata Panelworks and Shelby New Zealand were proud supporters of this initiative to help Pohlen Hospital and were to provide three Shelby vehicles for the promotion.

Like many in our community, we are deeply disappointed by yesterday's outcome. Pohlen Hospital is a cause close to our hearts, and we were pleased to support an initiative aimed at benefiting such an important local service.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control the promotion has had to be cancelled.

While we understand that supporters may feel frustrated and disappointed, the decision regarding the promotion was not made by Matamata Panelworks or Shelby New Zealand.

It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of Greig Miller, our very first car painter.

Greig was a massive part of the Matamata Panelworks family and truly larger than life. His skill, dedication, humour, and presence left a lasting mark on our team and everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Greig, you have gone too soon, mate. May you now rest in peace.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.
