Hi everyone, now that i have the right week 😉 just want to say due to Matariki stat holiday on Friday, we will have our late night on Thursday for takeaways at the Ongaonga store. We will be closed Friday and will reopen Saturday 12.00. The team hope you all have safe and enjoyable Friday. 🌞🤗

Another new item is the bain marie. Already popular for getting hot food quickly. Options change throughout the day to keep it fresh. Come check it out.

Wow!! Is all we can say.🎉🥳what a beautifully overwhelming night for our first takeaway evening. We truely appreciated the patience, feedback and support. We clearly need another two deep fryers as we struggled to keep up. We are sorry for the wait time for some orders and we will do better next Friday. The AMAZING team got their mojo going so now we can settle in for our next takeaway night. We went through ALOT of fish and chips.🦈🍟The tarakihi and fresh batter seemed to be the star of the night. Thanks again everyone.

Hi everyone. Apologies, we were aiming to put the menu up tonight but will do it first thing tomorrow morning once we have sorted our fish supply. We are wanting to batter our own fresh fish but this is difficult to do, especially with the price of fish!! Anyhooo, we will have a plan by the morning. We have phone orders already for tomorrow so it looks like we are going to be busy.👍😁 phone orders are welcome.
Meantime, come and enjoy home made pea n ham soup and toast on these cooler days along with out other yummy food.☕️🥪🍟🍔 watch this space.

Good morning all. This Friday is our first late night for takeaways. Shop hours for Fridays will be 9am -7pm. 🎉🥳
I will confirm the menu tonight and post on here tomorrow.
The phone should be fixed now and we will have starlink up and running tomorrow so should have better internet.
More stock in store. ice cream and iceblocks should arrive tomorrow. We have an ice maker in store for ice as of tomorrow.
It's all happening 🌞🌮🥪☕️

Good morning everyone. Thank you for the first day support. Its great to keep meeting people. We have had an interesting suggestion and want to get some feedback. The idea of have an area for a couch to sit inside, have a coffee, read a book etc seems appealling. Would this type of area be used much? Please let us know.
Most of the shop is restocked now. Will have pet food, ice blocks and ice by next week.. we havent forgotten our gluten free whanau. We will be building up those products too. 🤩 Take care out there, stay warm. 😁👍
