'Lone Wolf' is crossing the ditch!

This iconic unit is an ex off-highway 1995 Mack CL722RSX with an E9 525. Now owned by Heavy Haulage Assets, the legendary Mack was originally part of the Beattie Transport fleet in Murupara. It has undergone a fantastic restoration, led by the team at Pace Engineering Ltd.

Great to see a kiwi bulldog legend alongside the hundreds of trucks attending the Casino Truck Show in NSW on 1st August!

"Hungry Like The Wolf!"

We love to hear about the stories behind the tradition of naming Mack Trucks in New Zealand. There are some beauties and this logger is no exception. This Super-Liner 700hp Logger truck, owned and operated by Andre Mansell of AKM Trucking, is the 'sibling' of his 685 Super-Liner "Big Bad Wolf", named after Andre's young daughter's favourite bedtime story.

It's one hungry Mack - carrying up to 39 tonne payload and marking a new era for Mack in logging solutions!

With the personal touches including the koru fern livery and in the interior - a dipped dash in blue wood grain - and the new seat mounted gear selector, Andre's new ride will certainly turn some heads. Keep your eye out for this Wolf across Gisborne motu.
