3 from 3, the perfect hattrick for Awapuni apprentice Jim Chung!

A dominant day out, Jim partnered twice with Awapuni trainer Roydon Bergerson, where he guided both Farravallo to victory in the Australian Turf Club North Island Challenge Stakes and seasoned veteran, Bradman to an emphatic 6 length victory in the last.

Jim also partnered with Trainer and Owner Gerald Innes, who's 3YO Time Test gelding, My Ferrari, put the rest of the field to bed at the 200m mark, going on to win by 6 lengths also.

The 136th Grant Plumbing Wellington Steeplechase belongs to Brucie!

The 10-year-old gelding delivered a superb display of steeplechasing, finding another gear after early pressure from jumping star Nedwin.

Ridden confidently by Billy Marshall, Brucie surged to the lead turning for home before holding off a determined late challenge from race favourite Never Look Back to claim a memorable victory.

Congratulations to trainer Raymond Connors, Billy Marshall, and all connections on a fantastic win.

Billy Boy goes back to back in the Trentham Supporters Club Wellington Hurdles!

The 8YO So You Think gelding put on an elite performance over the hurdles, leading all the way under the steady hand of Will Featherstone and then finding more as he held off very strong challenges from Roc Up Ralph (S & E Clotworthy) and Happy Star (Kevin Myers).

Congratulations to Wanganui trainer, Jo Rathbone who claims a meeting double after a win in the Stephanie Murray Mortgages Maiden Hurdles with Affordable, and to all other connections involved in such a wonderful horse.
