Hello Everyone

Posting on this page...

Yes, it has changed! If you want to put notes about your adventures on the page here is what you do.:

Come on over to the page and on the menu at the top of the page, select "More" (as per yellow highlight in pic), then select "Mentions" (next yellow highlight). [Depending on your font size, you may be able to go directly to "Mentions"]

Type what you want to type, then post.

----‐‐‐----------------
To see your post on the AVVCC page again, you have to go back to mentions. However, for others, they will see your post on their timeline so long as they ate following the page.
----‐-----------------

This is a bit convoluted, so we may start again with a "Group" vs a "Page", but I'll have to check with others that they are happy for this to happen.

Thanks for your patience.
Jodi

Cannot make a post on this page?

Hi, Jodi here...
I've been working on this, checking every setting today. It's been a long day. I've logged the issue 3 times with Meta, with slightly different titles, hoping one will see sction quicker?

This evening I have gone to several other pages that I either administer or follow, all pages are the same, no posting allowed! So, thank goodness, it's not us!!!

The national club's "page" is there and usable because it is a "Group", not a page.

I am assuming that Meta have made an oops! So we'll be patient for the minute and wait and see what tomorrow brings? Worst case scenario is that we have to create a new "Group". (Sheesh).

Have a nice evening
Jodi

Yesterday, in FINE weather, we had the first Mid-week Run for the year. The run took us out to the Awhitu Wind Farm, on the Awhitu Peninsula. Jo reports that:

We had a wonderful run today, the sun was shining, and everyone made it out to the wind farm. We even gave the owners a true vintage car experience when Cedric's car decided to 'have a moment' halfway up the driveway!
