Looking forward to this

Today Waka Kotahi has issued a direction to the Transmission Gully contractor, Wellington Gateway Partnership (WGP), to open the road to traffic by the end of March.

It will be a safer and more resilient route than the current coastal route. We’re looking forward to people driving on this fantastic new motorway and seeing the scale of the complex engineering required to build this road through some of the most challenging terrain in New Zealand.

Several key requirements still need to be met for the road to be opened by the end of March, including a final pre-opening safety inspection. However, we believe there's nothing substantial that can’t be finished by the end of March which would prevent the road from opening. Waka Kotahi has told WGP we expect the road to be opened as soon as possible and that responsibility now sits with them.

Thursday throwback to 7 years ago when a client of ours built this rad life size Honda City Hotwheels car to do the show scene. We had the pleasure of carrying out the extensive exhaust modifications that were required to fit our clients requirements.

A different flavour of car that Dean built a custom exhaust for.
