T.S. Patrol Vessel Ohorere We are embarking on a restoration project to return Ohorere to her former glory.

We are interested in contacting people who used to work on her when she was the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries chase boat and the Police Launch in Wellington.

The mission initially seemed overwhelming. 8 20 litre containers of oily sludge, paint chips, rust were removed. The manifolds on the port motor were full of holes. Lots of things needed fixing, cleaning and replacing.
Still a work in progress.
