BIRDS NESTS! We’ve noticed and increase of birds nests in vehicles. One customer has had to remove daily if not multiple times a day! Annoying we know but better to check your vehicles.

We had some amazing kids from Wharepapa South school come into the workshop along with letter asking for some sponsors for their fundraiser. They had put the effort in and we were only too happy to help out.

We have donated a Karcher Spot cleaner and a WOF voucher so get amongst it and help these kids get to camp 🏕️

September is here and summer will be here before we know it!

If your boat, caravan or trailer has been sitting around now is a great time to get it checked over.

We all know what happens come November/December. Suddenly everyone is getting their boats and caravans ready, WOFs are due, tyres need checking, brakes etc then become urgent at the busiest time of the year so why not get ahead of the rush?

Yes, if you get your WOF a little earlier than it’s expiry date you might technically”lose” a few months but what you don’t lose is time, options and piece of mind when December rolls around.

Get it sorted now and when summer arrives you’re ready to hitch up and go 🚐 ☀️ 🚤

Last week we attended our first Automotive Solutions group meeting 🔧

We joined last year - you may have noticed the sign on our building.

It’s not a franchise. We’re still the same locally owned couple - just with a network of like-minded workshop owners behind us.

Being part of this group means we’re constantly sharing knowledge, learning, and improving - both technically and in how we run the business.

And it’s not just about what we take from it. With years in the industry, we’re also able to contribute, share what’s worked for us, and support others in the group too.

At the end of the day, it’s all about raising the standard for our workshop and for the customers we look after every day.

We’re hitting pause for 2 days this week (Thursday/Friday)

We’ll be closed while we attend an Automotive Solutions workshop, part of how we keep learning and improving.

As a small team, we do tend to book out in advance, so if you’ve got something coming up, it pays to plan ahead.

That said, if you’re stuck or need something urgent, still give us a call and we’ll always do our best to help 🙌
