was an experience this year. The weather was not on our side. The track was lacking alot of traction. So a drift car was the right car of choice. 🤣 I spent most/all of the day doing taxi cab ride alongs. Taking over 2 dozen people for a rev limiter filled ride. The car got absolutely thrashed hot lapping them 1 after the other. We were definitely the ride of choice at the stand. 🫶 The dry sump setup did everything it needed too, keep the rb30 alive. Perfect oil pressures and temps all day. I doubt the previous setup would have taken what I was dishing out on each ride along. 😮‍💨 Shout out to and the team for another awesome event!

A bit of an unexpected engine bay refresh has gone down on the workshop siliva. After I acquired a dry sump pump and tank thanks to . The usual process of scan-cad-fab took place with the pump mount, sump pan, cam and coil covers etc etc. Some candy red paint by my awesome neighbour Rodney and a good clean up of everything has resulted in what feels like a totally new setup.

Another task complete on my dry sump setup. Chopped up some cam covers, engraved a pair of top plates which also removed the filler cap and breather ports and added a vacuum regulator port. Welding them on was a challenge to say the least. The factory covers are very porous and oily despite a thorough clean. I’m pretty much at the point now where I have all the parts. The motor just needs to be stripped down, remove the tomie oil pump and piece it all back together.

Modify and mount front splitter. 3d print the front diffusers make an alloy flat floor from the splitter to rear car on diffuser. Which included custom side skirts. Fitted this new intake pipe to a very tidy 240z race car. I had designed and printed the intake from heat resistant pa6-cf a few weeks ago but had been waiting on the oval to arrive. Big change going fine a 3” flexi tube to the 4x6” filter and 3d printed pipe!
