🚘 Finishing the Week in Style! ✨

Capping off another busy week at Lakeview Mobile Valet with this lovely Audi Q3, booked in for a full inside-and-out refresh for one of our valued regular clients.

And what a lovely vehicle to finish the week on! 😎

A thorough interior clean and detail, followed by some proper TLC on the exterior, had this beauty looking pretty smick and ready for the weekend! ✨

📸 Now, apologies for the lack of exterior photos! My iPhone camera lens decided to develop a moisture problem, leaving the outside shots looking like they'd been taken through a bowl of porridge! 😂

Thankfully, the Audi came up a whole lot better than the photos!

At Lakeview, we pride ourselves on working to a standard, not to the clock, whether it's a hard-working farm ute or a lovely Audi like this one.

🐟 SOMETHING SMELLS FISHY AT LAKEVIEW MOBILE VALET! 🚗💦

Well, today certainly didn't go quite according to plan! 😂

The day started down on a regular client's farm, giving a hard-working Hilux some much-needed TLC, with the family Highlander next on the list.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn't playing ball, and I was feeling a bit below par myself. So, after finishing the Hilux, I had a chat with the client, shuffled the Highlander to Saturday, and headed home for an early finish.

Or so I thought! 🤣

No sooner had I got home than an SOS came through from a holidaymaker visiting our beautiful trout fishing capital, Tūrangi. 🎣

It seems something rather fishy had been accidentally upended in the boot of their car, leaving behind a particularly unpleasant souvenir of their visit! 🤢🐟

Now, fishy smells are one of those things you really don't want hanging around, especially in a vehicle!

So, we arranged for them to drop the car off while they headed out on foot to explore the local area, and I got stuck into sorting the problem.

Here's the thing about nasty odours...

A quick sq**rt of air freshener might make things smell better for five minutes, but it doesn't actually solve the problem!

Proper odour treatment means identifying the source, extracting the offending liquids, thoroughly cleaning the affected areas, and using the appropriate treatments to tackle the cause of the smell rather than simply masking it.

Thankfully, by the time our visitors returned, the fishy problem had been dealt with, and they could get back to enjoying their holiday! 😁

And the photos? Well... in all the excitement, I completely forgot to take any! 🤦‍♂️😂

Just another day where the unexpected becomes part of the job at Lakeview Mobile Valet!

Whether it's a hard-working farm ute, the family wagon, or an unexpected fishy emergency, we're always happy to help where we can.

🚙 A HARD-WORKING CRUISER GETS SOME LAKEVIEW TLC! 💪🧽

Now here's a vehicle that's certainly no stranger to a hard day's work!

This trusty Toyota Land Cruiser rolled in for our Farmers & Tradies Valet, and as you can see from the before photos, it had plenty of evidence of a busy working life! 😂

Dust, dirt, muddy boots and all the usual grime that comes with a vehicle that's built to earn its keep.

Nothing we haven't seen before at Lakeview!

A thorough interior deep clean and detail, followed by an exterior foam bath and hand wash, had this old workhorse looking a whole lot more respectable and ready for its next adventure. ✨

Because even the hardest-working vehicles deserve a little TLC!

🚤 A Little Community Spirit to Finish the Week! 🚤

Finished off another busy week at Lakeview Mobile Valet with a quick stop on the way home to visit the team at Coastguard Tūrangi.

The mission? Give their mighty RAM tow vehicle a well-deserved refresh ahead of its Labour Weekend show duties! 💪🚙✨

At Lakeview, we're proud to be a locally owned and operated business, and we reckon supporting the community that supports us is pretty important.

Whether it's helping out our local emergency services or getting behind community events, we're always happy to do our bit.

This was just one small way of giving something back to the fantastic volunteers who give so much of their time to keeping others safe on the water. 👏

Looking sharp and ready for the long weekend! 😎

🚗 THREE JOBS, THREE WHITE HATCHBACKS… AND NOT A HILUX IN SIGHT! 😂

A busy one for Lakeview today with three jobs back-to-back, and something of a rarity — three white hatchbacks, all belonging to different owners!

🚘 First up was one that needed some serious TLC. Winter had taken its toll, with mould making itself right at home inside. 😬 But no dramas — nothing a thorough Lakeview Deep Interior Clean couldn't tackle!

🚘 Next stop was a hard-working corporate pool car booked in for our Farmers & Tradies Package — a good exterior wash and a thorough interior clean to get it back into respectable shape. (Oops… forgot to take photos of that one! 🤦‍♂️)

🚘 And finally, we rounded out the day with a Deep Interior Clean on this tidy little Suzuki Swift, leaving it looking fresh and ready to hit the road again.

Three different owners, three different jobs, and three more vehicles given the Lakeview treatment! 💪

At Lakeview Mobile Valet, we come to you, whether it's a family runabout, a hard-working ute or a corporate fleet vehicle.

🚙 16 YEARS OLD AND STILL WORKING HARD!

Today's job was a hard-working 16-year-old Toyota Hilux that was well overdue for a bit of interior TLC!

Years of doing what Hiluxes do best had certainly left their mark, so it was time for a Lakeview Deep Interior Clean.

A thorough clean of the seats, carpets, floor mats, door trims and all those nooks and crannies where years of dirt and grime like to hide.

The before-and-after photos tell the story — not bad for a 16-year-old workhorse! 👌

🏔️ And how's the view from today's office? A stunning blue sky, the mountains looking magnificent and a pretty spectacular spot to spend a few hours working.

🐷 Even had a supervisor on site! A rather inquisitive little piggy who popped over to check on progress. Not sure how much he knows about car detailing, but he certainly gets full marks for cuteness! 😂

At Lakeview Mobile Valet, we come to you, whether you're at home, on the farm or at work. From hard-working farm utes to family vehicles, we give every job the care and attention it deserves.

🚙 A little Jimny getting the full Lakeview treatment! ✨

They might be small, but these Suzuki Jimnys are certainly capable little 4WDs!

This tidy white example was treated to a thorough inside-and-out refresh, bringing some shine back to the exterior and giving the cabin, carpets, seats and rear cargo area a good going-over.

With its practical interior, rear cargo barrier and off-road accessories, this little Suzuki is clearly set up for getting out and about!

The end result? A fresh, clean Jimny looking pretty smick and ready for its next adventure. 👌

🚜 FROM FARM DUTY TO FAMILY DUTY! 🚜

This Toyota Hilux has clocked up 150,000km, spending much of its life earning its keep on the farm while also doubling as the family kiddy hauler! 🐄👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

As you can imagine, a combination of farm life and little passengers can take its toll on a vehicle!

The owner booked it in for the full Lakeview refresh, giving us the opportunity to get stuck into both the interior and exterior.

A thorough deep clean inside, followed by the full exterior detailing treatment, and this hardworking Hilux came up pretty smick! 👌✨

Just goes to show that a vehicle doesn't have to be new to look fantastic. A bit of TLC (and plenty of elbow grease!) can make a world of difference.

🚙 200,000km, 7 years old… and a fresh start for this Ford Ranger Raptor! 💪

There's nothing quite like the excitement of buying a new-to-you vehicle… until you start discovering what the previous owner left behind! 😅

The new owner of this 7-year-old Ranger Raptor had spent much of the weekend attempting to give the interior a thorough clean. But with 200,000km on the clock and seven years of accumulated use, it soon became apparent that a bit more than elbow grease was needed.

Time to call in Lakeview Mobile Valet! 🧽✨

We got stuck into a comprehensive interior deep clean, working our way through the seats, carpets, mats, dashboard, centre console, door trims and all those awkward little nooks and crannies where dirt and grime love to hide.

The goal? Give the new owner a fresh, clean interior to enjoy from day one of their ownership.

And judging by the message that arrived shortly after they'd returned home, I'd say we achieved exactly that! 😁

"Very happy with the ranger thank you David!" 😊

Messages like this make the hard work worthwhile. There's something particularly satisfying about helping someone enjoy their new purchase that little bit more.

🚗 At Lakeview Mobile Valet, we don't work to the clock — we work to a standard.
