With stunning rural views, a bit of fresh country air, and two hard-working vehicles in need of some TLC, it wasn't exactly a bad office for the day!

Of course, no job is complete without a supervisor, and today's quality control manager took his role very seriously. 🐕💦

Armed with a hi-vis jacket and absolutely zero regard for workplace safety, he spent most of the day trying to attack the water jet. Every pass with the pressure washer was met with a full-scale interception attempt. Safe to say he was convinced the water stream was the enemy and he was determined to save the farm from it!

Meanwhile, both vehicles received a full refresh inside and out, leaving them clean, protected, and ready for whatever the farm tracks, paddocks, and country roads can throw at them next.

Capped off a busy and fully booked week with yet another Barry Crump limousine 🤪

This Hilux was booked in for the Lakeview Tradies Refresh, and to be fair it's a real credit to the owner. For a working ute, it had been well looked after and just needed a proper deep clean to bring everything back up to scratch.

After a full interior refresh, thorough exterior clean and plenty of attention to the details, it came up looking as good as the day it rolled out of the showroom. Not bad for a vehicle that earns its keep every day!

Everyone notices the clean seats, shiny dash and spotless carpets... but what about the places you can't see?

Another hard-working Ranger in for a Tradies Refresh! 🔧🚙

This Ford Ranger Wildtrak has clocked up over 200,000km, proving that a well-looked-after ute can still present exceptionally well. Like many tradie vehicles, it spends more time being a tool than a showpiece, so it was due for a bit of TLC to bring it back up to scratch.

Today it received one of our popular Tradies Refresh packages, focusing on the areas that cop the most abuse from daily work life. The interior was thoroughly cleaned and rejuvenated, carpets freshened up, dust and grime removed from all those hard-to-reach areas, and the whole cabin left looking clean, tidy and ready for another week on the job.

🚛 When a Staff Change Means the Truck Needs Some Attention…

I got a call earlier this week from a local commercial business after a staff member had left the company. When they got the truck back, let's just say they decided a professional valet was needed... and quickly! 😜

With the calendar already packed, I managed to juggle a few bookings around for some of my regular clients and squeezed this one in with an early 7am start. The goal was simple – meet the new driver on-site, give the cab a much-needed refresh, and have it ready to go while he got on with his day's work.

A few hours later, the difference was night and day. The cab was clean, fresh, sanitised, and ready for its next chapter. No downtime, no hassle, and one very happy new driver at the end of it.

It's amazing what a thorough interior refresh can do for a work vehicle. Not only does it look better, but it's a much nicer place to spend long days behind the wheel.

300,000km and still earning its keep. 💪

This 15-year-old Nissan Navara rolled in for what I call a Tradie Refresh.

With over 300,000km on the clock, this ute has clearly spent more time on worksites than parked in a garage. It's hauled tools, tackled muddy boots, carried materials, and done everything asked of it over the years.

The owner wasn't chasing perfection or a showroom finish — just a good honest refresh to bring some life back into a hardworking workhorse.

After a thorough vacuum, deep clean of all interior surfaces, dust and grime removal from every nook and cranny, and a good tidy-up throughout, the old Navara is looking sharp again and ready for the next job.

I always enjoy working on vehicles like this. They tell a story. Every scratch, scuff and kilometre represents years of hard work, and it's satisfying being able to give them a bit of care in return.

Not every vehicle needs a full detail. Sometimes a Tradie Refresh is exactly what's needed to make climbing back into it each morning a whole lot more enjoyable.

Another one transformed with the full Lakeview treatment today. ✨

This Mitsubishi ASX came in for a complete refresh, and the owner admitted it hadn't had a proper valet since it rolled out of the showroom 8 years ago.

Eight years of daily life leaves its mark – dust in the hard-to-reach places, grime in the door shuts, tired-looking trim, and carpets that have seen better days. A few hours later, the ASX was looking and feeling a whole lot closer to its former self.

From the leather seats and dashboard through to the boot area and all those little details that often get overlooked, every part of this vehicle received the attention it deserved.

There's something incredibly satisfying about handing back a vehicle that's been genuinely rejuvenated rather than just given a quick clean. The owner was blown away by the difference and couldn't believe it was the same car.

Another Hilux, Another Transformation 💪🚙

This Hilux stopped by for an interior refresh after doing exactly what a Hilux is built to do — working hard and getting properly used.

The before photos tell the story. Dust, dirt, marks on the seats, debris through the footwells and all the little signs of a vehicle that's been earning its keep.

A few hours later and it's looking fresh, clean and ready for whatever the next job throws at it. ✨

One of the things I enjoy most about detailing isn't just the cleaning itself — it's giving owners that feeling of climbing back into a vehicle that feels cared for again.

Another day, another Hilux in for a Lakeview interior refresh... and this one definitely needed it!

This hardworking Hilux had seen plenty of action, with dirt, dust and debris finding their way into just about every corner of the cabin. After a thorough interior refresh, it was looking and feeling like a completely different vehicle.

But the best part of the job wasn't the transformation.

While vacuuming under the driver's seat, my well-trained ears picked up a very distinctive rattle heading up the vacuum hose. A quick hit of the remote shut-off on the handpiece and investigation revealed something a little special — a sentimental heirloom necklace that the owner later confessed had been missing for several years!

Needless to say, she was absolutely stoked. Not only did she get her Hilux back looking fresh and tidy, but she was also reunited with a piece of jewellery she thought was gone forever.

It's not every day a valet turns into a treasure hunt, but it's moments like these that make the job worthwhile.

Another week done and dusted here at Lakeview Mobile Valet… and when the bookings are back-to-back all week, this is what Friday afternoon looks like 😅

Believe it or not, every single cloth in these stacks has its own purpose and place in the Lakeview system.

Everything is colour coded to avoid cross contamination between paintwork, interiors, glass, wheels and the dirtier jobs. It might look a bit over the top… but it’s all part of making sure every vehicle gets the best possible finish without shortcuts.

Safe to say the washing machine definitely earns its keep around here too 🤣
