BlackHill MX Club Waihi Blackhill MX track is a community incentive for all members of the public to use as a family motocross track.

Blackhill MX Track is safe and designed for all riders of all abilities. We have a basic mini loop but most riders find they are able to ride the main loop.

Shout out to Riley Eccleshall and Kobe Taylor for getting the roof on and Jayden Curle for sourcing the iron. Also Reside Construction with those ladders and staffs made the job much easier!

A warning for those accessing the track, due to the last weather event there is some wear to the driveway and the track with LARGE ruts formed from the excess water.

We will have this graded when weather permits but meanwhile please use caution as users access at their own risk which is at a high level

UPDATE:
The new 2026 2027 season is now underway with the new season padlocks on the gate.
An annual membership key which gives you access until 31st March 2027 can be purchased at Underground Market in Waihi and day keys for the day of use only.

please ensure the padlocks are secured in the right place as per the photos out of respect for other users.

KEY UPDATE:
The locks will be changed over Monday 13th April

There are day keys available from Underground Market with the new season annual membership keys available from the 13th April.

until then, only day keys are available to purchase, meanwhile the 2025 2026 membership keys will continue to work
