A quick recommendation from Shane at Kaspa Transmissions

For these straight cut R154s, we recommend running a centre sprung clutch. This helps take some of the shock load out of the drivetrain and can go a long way towards improving the longevity of the gearset

It’s a simple change that can make a big difference, especially in high horsepower street, track and drift cars.

Went down to Kaspa transmissions in new Lynn today to We picked up our first built assembled R154 today

This isn’t your average R154 either, it’s fitted with a straight cut gearset while still retaining synchros, giving you that iconic straight cut gearbox sound without going to a full dog box setup.

A massive thanks to Shane and the team at Kaspa Transmissions for assembling this gearbox. The workmanship and attention to detail is second to none even putting serial number on them so we can track them and know everything about them.

Nothing too crazy, just a simple setup that works really well. It might not have the biggest power figures, but it’s a heap of fun to drive and sounds awesome.
