THE KIRKWOOD LEGACY IS COMING HOME! 🚗✨
Almost 90 years ago (way back in 1937), Henry R Kirkwood established the original Kirkwood Motors right here in New Plymouth. Later, the passion skipped a generation to Barry Kirkwood with Kirkwood Motors Whanganui.
Growing up around the trade, Joe Kirkwood always dreamed of rebuilding that family dynasty.
After starting completely from scratch on Guyton Street with just 20 cars and building Whanganui’s trusted Integrity Motor Company on Taupo Quay, Joe (NPBHS Old Boy '97–'01) is officially bringing the family flag back to central Taranaki! 🚩
We have officially secured 77 Gill Street, New Plymouth!
❤️ A $10,000 GIFT OF GRATITUDE
This expansion isn't just about business—it’s personal. To say thank you to the community that shaped him, Joe is personally donating $10,000 to the Taranaki Base Hospital’s Renal Department the day before our opening. Having experienced his own renal health journey when he was younger, Joe knows firsthand how vital this department is.
"A business is only as strong as its community. Supporting the incredible team at Taranaki Base Hospital is our way of saying thank you." — Joe Kirkwood
📍 GRAND OPENING: 1st of November
Get ready for access to our high-volume fleet—from family SUVs to heavy-duty utes—backed by our signature on-the-spot flexible financing and 4.8-star customer service.
Taranaki, we can’t wait to see you. Let’s drive into the future together!
