In 2004, W & E Investments Ltd. which stands for Wilfredo & Emilia, started to take over Alva Motoring Lae branch from my dad’s former employer, Leasemaster Ltd. ..Thanks to Ron Seddon. 4 years after, Alva Engineering came in the picture.
These 20 years came and went in what feels like the blink of an eye. This company has faced many crests and troughs, things were going downhill and we were making losses, but we have never backed down.
Our achievements over the years are only possible with the support of many parties. On behalf of W & E Investments Ltd, my brother, Christian Jude Totanes and I, would like to extend our appreciation to our loyal clients who stayed with us even during the most challenging times. To our suppliers and creditors, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for your services and unwavering support and understanding. And to our business partners, Ramil Lingatong Siban and El, your support and collaboration have been invaluable to our organization's growth. We extend our sincerest gratitude for your continued partnership.
Credit for our success and longevity also boils down to the amazing, intelligent and hardworking team members we’ve been lucky enough to hire. Several have been with us since my parents started the company. Their passion and dedication set us apart in this industry.
And to our dearest Dad / Tay W***y, we will work harder to continue your legacy.
In today's fast-changing and increasingly unpredictable world, it is important - more than ever before - that we neither give up, nor relent, nor become divided. May we continue to bloom and blossom and help each other out through the process. For this company and the people working for it are like a second family to me.
