❗ CPMPC HAS NOT ISSUED ANY OFFICIAL STATEMENT REGARDING ANY BANKRUPTCY FILING.
Recent reports circulating online claiming that a Modernized Jeepney Cooperative is preparing to file a “notice of bankruptcy” are FALSE, MISLEADING, and WITHOUT ANY OFFICIAL BASIS from our organization.
At no point has CPMPC authorized, announced, or disclosed such information to any media outlet or platform.
We strongly urge the public to:
✔️ Rely only on official statements released by CPMPC
✔️ Avoid spreading unverified information
✔️ Practice responsible sharing of news

We also call on media organizations to uphold responsible journalism by verifying information with proper authorities before publication.

🚍✨ Good news, mga ka-Peoples Jeep!

Today, DOTr, LTFRB, LTO, and the Office of the Cooperative (OTC) visited and inspected our operations here at CPMPC Bacolod Transport. They were impressed with how we, together with TransPro Fleet Management, run our fleet management system in the Fortune Towne – Central Market loop.

🙌 Their feedback? Our system is a model worth studying and applying nationwide for the Public Transport Modernization Program. Truly an honor for our team!

A big thank you to our admin, staff, drivers, and PAOs for making this success possible. And of course, to our commuters, who inspire us every day to serve better. 💚

As Cebu Peoples Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CPMPC) proudly celebrates 52 years of service and excellence this year, we at the Bacolod Satellite Office reaffirm our commitment to uphold and continue the legacy built by generations of visionary leaders and dedicated members.

We express our profound gratitude to Sir Yoyong Quevedo, former Chairperson, former CEO, and now Board Member and Chairman of the Transport Fleet Management Committee, to Chairman of the Board Manolito Ardimer, to our newly appointed CEO Sir Michael Abella, and to the entire CPMPC Head Office for their steadfast leadership, trust, and invaluable guidance.

Under their direction and encouragement, the Bacolod Satellite Office proudly stands at the frontline of our jurisdiction, advancing CPMPC’s mission of innovation, collaboration, and service excellence in the field of modern public transport.

Our recent participation in the high-level discussions with DOTr Secretary Vince Dizon, LTFRB and LTO Regional Directors, Mayor Albee Benitez, and other esteemed officials showcased not only the strength of our EJeep operations and fleet management practices, but also CPMPC’s enduring commitment to nation-building through cooperative endeavors.

Ongoing Talks for Transport Coops!

Heads up, mga ka-coop! There's an ongoing discussion tackling specific issues and concerns of every transport cooperative.

Thanks to the initiative of Coop-NATCCO Party-list Congressman Felimon Espares, together with LTFRB Regional Director Richard Osmeña and CDA Regional Director Escobar, important matters are being heard and addressed.

This is a big step towards improving our operations, addressing challenges, and strengthening the support for all transport coops nationwide. Padayon ta, mga ka-coop!
