A HARD-FOUGHT FINALS BATTLE! 🏆
It was never an easy road to the championship for 3C LUZVIMINDA as we faced a very competitive 4B GLODO in a thrilling Finals battle. Yes, we had the advantage in size and had already defeated them in the elimination round with a perfect record, but we knew the Finals was a completely different battle—nothing was guaranteed.
4B GLODO came out firing and overran us in the 1st and 2nd quarters, building a lead of as many as 18 points. But instead of panicking, 3C LUZVIMINDA stayed composed and slowly fought our way back into the game.
The turning point came when we tightened our man-to-man defense, successfully limiting their main scorer and disrupting their offensive rhythm. As the game became more intense, 4B GLODO appeared to lose focus with repeated frustrations. The emotions started to take over, and we made sure to do the opposite. We stay calm and focused on the game.
When the pressure reached its highest point in the dying minutes of the 4th quarter, BIG SHOTS AFTER BIG SHOTS decided the championship.
NEIL ESTIMADA stepped up with BACK-TO-BACK THREE-POINTERS, giving 3C LUZVIMINDA a crucial 3-point lead. Then came the dagger NIKKO DEPALOBOS knocked down a clutch jumpshot to help seal the victory, 63-58!
CONGRATULATIONS, 3C LUZVIMINDA!! 🏆
