It’s fair to say over the last 3-4 weeks Thailand - Bangkok has been having its share of weather issues . Not too newsworthy back in UK I know.
But the disruption here has been painful for many of us . With parts suppliers closed,international post backed up ,the general stress of families caught up in the chaos. There wasn’t a lot of point in trying to operate particularly as the crazy weather has persisted and staff disappeared to Bangkok to assist families made it virtually impossible anyway. We’ve tried to keep ourselves motivated with a couple of little projects but it’s been a frustrating time for sure . The odd few 🍻 have helped put a brave face on things too.
Things are gradually getting back to some form of normality I think . Staff are due back this week !! So that’s good news for us .
Lots of YOU are owed items ordered - exhausts,body kits, seats, tardis, etc etc etc.. The parts needed to finish items are starting to flow in again.
Once we get up and running at full speed - We will get stuff to you .

The British Racing Green ‘BRG’ Special Edition will be launched at Moto Expo on 2nd December… Behind the scenes - There is lots of us trying make sure it’s ready for its world debut . !!!
If you tell your Distributor and Dealers You want it - It will be produced and will come to the UK .
# We don’t know the prices or expected timeline for deliveries . If I knew I would tell you - We are literally just the excited messenger.

UPDATE - Soggy smelly boxes returned from flooded Bangkok.
3 out of 12 damaged ! 9 have been dried out - repacked and are on the way again this morning . Remainder of RK 70 300s will be on the way Monday
( I’ll be in touch for payment )

Next will be the 15 RK 70 350s followed by the 14 DD75 300s and DD75 350s.
Several parcels haven’t made it back here yet . We are far from close to being operational-All staff still away, But I’m trying to keep things moving as best I can kTF .

We have ceased all operations here in Thailand whilst the complications of flooding , staff, parts suppliers and international postal services suspension exists.Its all a bit upside down here at the moment.

However behind the scenes excitement is building around the “special edition”model we’ve built as an example idea …

# Royal Thai post have notified us that international freight postage is not recommended at the moment.! !!!

# As for the 12 RK exhausts and parts shipments that went out from here last Wednesday and Thursday . They are trying to find out where these parcels got to ? No tracking systems are on line at the moment. Pat said this morning that they may be stuck in the mountain of back log that exists in Bangkok depots and airport cargo - customs warehouses .

# For - The owners that advance paid for these last week . I will happily return your £536.00 pounds payments if you PM message.
My gut tells me if they didn’t make it through sorting /customs and freight distribution onto a plane ✈️ prior to the flooding - The boxes will be waterlogged damaged and will come back to me on Samui .
I do not know full situation as yet, more information is filtering out daily of situation behind the scenes in Bangkok.

As you can probably imagine many of our parts suppliers are not answering phones - messages at the moment, Business as normal !! It certainly is NOT over here !!!!!!

Our steel and lazer cutting lab have notified us that they are basically shut down during this period . One of our seat trimmers we know has been badly hit with flooding as she spoke to my wife this morning. ( fortunately I recently received 30 seats from her - So I’m good with stock until she gets back on her feet .

We have a lot of parts orders pending delivery to us - parts ranging from nuts bolts , exhaust clamps , packing foam ,
( cardboard boxes 📦 could you believe it !!) lazer brkt parts .. it’s just unknown when any of this will reach us now . Not many people in Bangkok are focused on their businesses at the minute. It’s sort of pointless even phoning to chase orders . !!!
Hence the decision made to cease operations here and try and assist our families and friends caught up in this .

One of the only items we could carry on with unhindered would be the body kit fabrications and painting . But Tons family is caught up in the floods and is leaving for Bangkok Saturday morning. I’m sat here watching him put a scooter together, A guy who normally is smiling in his work looks broken. He’s been funding the build of a family house for 2-3 years and he doesn’t know the extent of the issues with it as it’s in an area that is still flooded out .
My wife and Quan are also leaving Saturday to assist in the family flooding aftermath. All very sad I’m afraid.
Shep and I had flooding issues here on Samui a few years back and it was so disappointing to see the workshop- machinery equipment damaged .
The scale of what’s happened and happening in Bangkok is just hard to get your head around.

There is lots of reporting coming through from media pretending it’s all ok now ?!! This isn’t helping the Bangkok people’s state of mind , particularly the ones wrapped up in the dirt smelly waterlogged devastation .
I’m trying to drink b**r and chat with my brother in law last night via video call - keep spirits up !
He’s lost his Taxi 7 seater 3 other cars bikes , and his house in 3 ft of water still !!

# A few tourist main streets have been cleared and cleaned for media news to encourage tourists to still visit !! but real people are struggling and the the clear up and reinstatement of normality is far from anywhere close .
Thais are very resilient people- Crist many of them will be severely traumatized and tested during this period, personally knowing from family and real photos I’m getting , This is going to take time to recover from for so many .
I will update more when I know more people .

Bangkok.. Flood water is receding during break in the weather. The city is in a serious mess and far from returning to normality for 1000’s of people. Our Family, friends and suppliers.. Almost everyone and every business has been impacted by this freak occurrence
