現代車頭燈燈殼大多採用 PC（Polycarbonate，聚碳酸酯）材質製成。當車輛長期暴露於劇烈溫差變化、頻繁熱脹冷縮，以及強烈紫外線照射的環境下，塑料分子結構將逐漸劣化，加速材料脆化與老化。
Most modern headlamp lenses are made of PC (Polycarbonate). Over time, exposure to temperature fluctuations, thermal cycling, and UV radiation causes the material to degrade, leading to aging, embrittlement, and reduced durability.

最直接的結果，就是駕駛人最不願見到的問題——車燈黃化與氧化。
The most immediate consequence is the issue drivers least want to see — headlamp yellowing and oxidation.

這不僅影響車輛外觀，使原本精緻的車輛顯得老舊，更重要的是，它已成為一項不容忽視的行車安全風險。
This not only affects the vehicle's appearance, making an otherwise well-maintained vehicle look aged and worn, but more importantly, it has become a driving safety concern that should not be overlooked.

當燈殼開始黃化後，光線穿透率將大幅下降，並產生散射現象，使夜間照明效果明顯減弱，進一步降低駕駛人的視線範圍與道路辨識能力。
Once the headlamp lens begins to yellow, light transmission is significantly reduced, and increased light scattering occurs. As a result, nighttime illumination performance deteriorates noticeably, reducing the driver's visibility range and ability to identify road conditions and potential hazards ahead.
