Details matter! This customer down SW of Miller had another "technician" come out to his farm two years ago and evaluate his motors. Frustrated by motor problems, he reached out to me. Among the problems I found was this capacitor box, full of water. Water has a way of getting in places of course, however this one was easily preventable.
One of the screws on the top side was simply stripped out, so the box could no longer seal. 30 seconds with a drill bit and a new stainless screw and that should end the water intrusion, and connection issues! (It took quite a bit longer than 30 seconds to replace all the capacitors and repair the wiring, however!)
