The first time I attempted to polish the family vehicle with a bottle of Nu Finish my father and I purchased from PeP Boy's...did not go as planned. My father had to rub that off for hours. The next time I polished the family vehicle I was 12 and that went as planned. While stationed in North Carolina, I would wash my friend's car on the weekend. Around 2003 my friend Keke told me I should become
a detailer since I did an awesome job on her car. She continues to encourage me to date as she was my first detailing customer ever outside of my parents. Anytime I take a road trip to the east coast, I stop in South Carolina to detail her car and visit with my extended family. While stationed in Delaware my landlord and I hit it off since we share a passion for vintage cars and he had a few. He had me detail his vintage cars in exchange of him cutting the yard. I detailed his and his friend's vintage cars/trucks. That is when my skills significantly improved as the exterior and interior surfaces were 55+ years old. I travel to Delaware once a year to deal the vintage fleet. While stationed in Abilene, my next-door neighbor encouraged me to become a detailer after they saw a coworker's car I detailed. When I detailed a second coworker's car my neighbor canceled their membership to the local tunnel wash and they and my coworker became monthly customers in 2021. That gave me 4 cars monthly to hone my skills using premium products and ceramic coatings. I promised the four of them that in spring of 2022 I would offer my services to a wider base of customers. Spring 2022 came around alot faster than I expected and March 2022 my coworker made me business cards with Tiny Tim's Premier Detailing. I honed my skills and pricing around what I'm passionate about. I have tried the quick details and I simply can't stomach the outcome although the customer likes it. If you are looking for the average detailer, I'm not your guy. I also have a customer in Georgia which was my first customer I applied a one-year ceramic coating for. I have been hooked on ceramic ever since. Here in Texas, I have customers around the state outside of Abilene. This is the start of my detailing journey for those potential customers that want to "bring back that new car look" and/or "maintain that new car look" for years to come. Since the beginning of my journey around age 7 to now I started with the once-a-year car polish, to waxes/sealants, to ceramic coatings and now looking forward to using the newest technology to the market graphene products. I'm not everyone's detailer, but I'm the detailer for the chosen ones!
