Welp here it is boys and girls they don't make the express van shock mounts, the whole siderail was rotten through where the mount was supposed to be, so we made one and trust Woolwax to go directly over the bare metal.
Van will be very old before this mount rots out again, even with only the 1 application.
Epoxy primer and paint is fine, this works fine also.

The first-generation Chevrolet Silverado and the tenth-generation Ford F-150 represented two very different approaches to the American pickup truck.

Both dominated sales charts. Both earned loyal followings. And both helped define what a full-size truck looked like at the turn of the century.

Ford's tenth-generation F-150 arrived first. It introduced a more rounded, aerodynamic design that was a major departure from the square-bodied trucks of the past. Traditional truck buyers weren't sure what to think at first, but the F-150 quickly proved itself and became one of the best-selling vehicles in America.

Then Chevrolet answered with the all-new Silverado in 1999.

Where the Ford focused on a smoother, more modern appearance, the Silverado leaned into a tougher, more traditional truck look. Bigger wheel arches, a bold front end, and styling that looked ready for work.

Under the hood, both offered a range of V6 and V8 engines, but the Silverado introduced GM's new LS-based truck engines. The 4.8L and 5.3L Vortec V8s quickly earned a reputation for durability, strong performance, and endless aftermarket potential.

Ford's advantage was familiarity. Buyers could choose proven Triton V8 power, including the popular 4.6L and 5.4L engines, while the F-150's comfortable ride and wide range of configurations made it a favorite for both work and family duty.

What makes this rivalry interesting is that neither truck tried to reinvent the pickup.

They simply focused on doing the basics well.

Hauling.

Towing.

Working.

And lasting.

Today, both trucks have become icons of their era. The Silverado helped launch GM's modern truck dominance, while the F-150 continued a legacy that remains strong to this day.

If you grew up in the early 2000s, chances are your neighborhood had both.

The only question was which driveway they were parked in.

When I was new at small business ownership, honestly I was excited and terrified. (Still am)

Constantly worried about what everyone thought.

As you evolve as a person, the business thing comes along with it with all you have experienced.

I had so much to learn then. (Still do).
If I learned anything, it's to always remain humble and teachable.

We never really have this thing called life figured out until the big lady sings so taking it in stride and learning from mistakes is the best advice I could give.

Treat people the way you would want to be treated.

Same for the vehicles.

Same goal.

Make them last as long as possible, p**s off the stealerships and make life long customers and a few friends along the way.

Being busy is a huge confidence boost, but it comes at a price.

Do you want what you really say you do?

Well, tonight or yesterday whatever it is, I stayed up all night(again) tying up loose ends and thinking of the next move.

That's business ownership.

You take pride in the services you offer, maintain customer relationships and the reputation behind your name.

Brick by brick, your dream becomes your reality.

But that does not mean all sun and rainbows it's the beginning of some of the biggest challenges you will ever face.

It took a good 5 years for CC to get off the ground with momentum, Now that it's here, it's more about learning balance.

Wouldn't be here without all of you.
