This beautiful ride came in with a serious drivetrain noise that turned into a deeper inspection. We found damaged torque converter mounting lugs, a bent flexplate, and even a dislodged pushrod hiding under the valve cover.

After replacing the damaged components, correcting the valvetrain issue, tracking down an exhaust leak, and giving everything a thorough inspection, we got this one back on the road running, shifting, and driving like it should. 🚦💨 #1970

Everyone sees the flashy rides we post. Nobody sees the sacrifices behind them. Long days, late nights, stress, the 3 hour round trip daily drive and so many risks all for two girls who are our entire why. We aren’t trying to build a perfect life. (Actually, that’s a lie.) She’s cute. 🤤 Swapped to an electric fan setup with Holley Sniper control and dialed in for better cooling performance. Also, installed a charcoal canister and improved the fuel tank vent system to stop the fumes from the gas tank. Any day with a Scout in a the shop is a good day. 🙏
