🏕️❄️ CAMP HAPPY TIPS WEDNESDAY! ❄️🏕️
Let's talk about putting our campers to bed for the winter! 💤
We all have our own little routines when it's time to close up our campers for the season, and today we're sharing ours!
In our Avalanche, we:
🧺 Pack our blankets away in sealed totes.
🥫 Remove ALL food and liquids. Nobody needs a frozen surprise come spring!
🐭 Remove anything those pesky little creatures might think makes a cozy winter bed. Toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, towels... OUT THEY GO!
🔍 Check for and seal any small openings where unwanted visitors might sneak in. Remember, mice can squeeze through some VERY tiny spaces!
🧼 Scatter dryer sheets and Irish Spring soap throughout the camper.
🚫 Use rodent repellent as an extra layer of protection.
Now, do we know if every one of these tricks works? Nope! But it's our routine, and so far, it's worked for us! 😂 Just remember, sealing entry points and removing food and nesting materials are your best defenses!
Now here's where YOU come in!
What's the ONE thing you ALWAYS do before closing your camper for the winter? Do you have a tried-and-true trick the rest of our camping family needs to know?
👇 Share your tips below! We might all learn something new!
