Remember folks when you hear a squealing while applying the brakes it means you need to have your brakes replaced they become dangerous. Most all brake pads have squeal tabs on them and the ones that dont usually have electronic sensors that turn a warning light on to tell you that you need brakes. With all the snow, ice, slush and dirty wter tire spray that we have in these winter months its important to keep good wiper blades on our vehicles. The blades should be replaced if they start streaking or missing an area that they cover while you have the wipers on. This can leave blind spots for the driver and lead to more accidents where its a road hazard being hit or hitting another car because the dirty spot on the windshield caused you to not see another vehicle. you should inspect the blades regularly to make sure the wiping edge isn't torn or separated from the rest of the blade. Hello Facebook! Remember to check your tires twice a month to make sure there is no irregular ware and that the tread is still at a safe depth. In the winter especially there should be 1/8 inch of tread depth or about the distance of Lincoln's head from the edge of a nickel. Doing this will help keep you safer in the snowy months with more hazardous driving conditions.

What up Facebook!!!! I have had a few ideas going through my brain and I'd like some feed back; what does everyone think about Big Z merchandise???? I'm talking hats, shirts, hoodies, all with America First graphics and sayings. it have the Big Z's Repair logo on it so people know my stance on these issues and it spreads the America First cause. Let me know what your thoughts are.

This winter remember to check your engines coolant!!! Coolant is was keeps your engine from overheating and keeps you toasty warm in the car when its bitter cold outside. There have been a lot of advancements in engine coolant in the past 25 to 30 years, dating back into the early and mid 1990's. These changes have caused engine coolant to last much longer between change intervals. Where as the old style propylene glycol was good for about 36,000 miles or 3 years, whichever came first, the newer technology coolants last between 100,000 to 150,000 miles on average now or 5 years, again whichever comes first. Even with the new technologies in coolant you still need to change it on regular service intervals to keep it from eating away at your cooling system. By flushing the cooling system out and putting new coolant in you prolong the systems life and make sure you will stay roasty toasty warm all winter for years to come.
