RV Tip of the Week: Take Care of Your Batteries
Your RV batteries work hard every day, powering lights, appliances, water pumps, and more. A little routine maintenance can help them last longer and prevent unexpected issues.
✔ Check battery terminals for corrosion
✔ Keep connections clean and tight
✔ Monitor water levels (for lead-acid batteries)
✔ Avoid letting batteries stay fully discharged
✔ Inspect for signs of damage or overheating
Do these especially during the summer months, as heat can put extra stress on your batteries and shorten their lifespan if they're not properly maintained.
A few minutes of battery care today can save you from headaches tomorrow.
