🌿💵 Help Stop Spotted Knapweed and Get Paid! 💵🌿

The Lincoln County W**d & Pest Spotted Knapweed Incentive Program is here! Earn $1.00 per pound for pulling spotted knapweed while helping protect Star Valley from one of our most invasive weeds.

📅 July 27-29
🕗 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
📍 Town of Alpine Town Hall
250 River Circle, Alpine, WY

✅ Scale and payment available on-site.
✅ Collection bags will be available at the event or may be picked up beforehand at the Lincoln County W**d & Pest office in Afton.

Please note: Spotted knapweed must be picked within Lincoln County to qualify for the incentive program.

Removing spotted knapweed is easy. Simply use a shovel to cut just below the soil surface and remove the crown, located about ½ to 1 inch below the soil. One plant can produce up to 9,000 seeds, so every plant removed helps protect our valley for future generations.

🏡 Property Owners: If you have spotted knapweed on your property and would like volunteers to remove it through this program, please contact Town Hall at (307) 654-7757 and let us know where it is located.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We have to share this one...
We recently received a 1-star review from someone who said our bathrooms were clean and our staff was friendly... but was upset because we ask guests not to stand on the toilet seats.
We know it may seem like an unusual sign, but it's there because we've had too many toilet seats broken by people standing or squatting on them. We simply ask everyone to use our facilities as intended so they stay clean, safe, and available for everyone.
Thanks to the thousands of wonderful customers who treat our store like they'd treat their own home. We appreciate you! ❤️

P.S. The bathrooms are still clean, the staff is still friendly, and yes... the toilet seats are still for sitting. 😉
